I'm resting today cuz I'm totally exhausted. Martin and I went to Portland, and saw Genderwork at Susan Maasch. We also saw Rachel, Lee and Ahna and wildcrafted in Alna, Maine. Laura drove us back from Alna with our fiddleheads, nettles and garlic and large gift for Jim's birthday. We stopped at Martin's grandmothers' house to pick up some of our bulk food order. Then came back, slept and I fixed my bike. Jim was becoming whiny and agitating, so we left and walked a few miles to the River Forest, where we sat on a blanket and drank beer. We came back and I was too tired to lift my head up, and swiftly fell asleep.
I woke up in the night and in the state of body-induced terror from my exhaustion my mind began turning illogical cartwheels and I was up for several hours fighting off a paralysing fear. I drank some tea and read some random things and eventually fell back asleep. I am too tired to go to TransNet tonight and I regret that I won't be very available for Martin for a few days because I don't have energy to do much for anyone but me.
