When Schuldig entered the room and struck a certain pose, consisting of hands on hips and chin held high, Crawford knew that he meant business. What about was anyone’s guess, but the sense of inevitability was unavoidable.
“I think,” Schuldig began, “that you should buy all of us iPhones.”
“No,” Crawford replied. “Also, no.”
“You should!” Schuldig pressed.
“No.”
“Aren’t you tired of sounding like a broken record?”
Not missing a beat. “Iie.”
“But I-”
“Nein.”
“We could-”
“Non.”
“They would-”
“O-Nay.”
“ARGH!” Growling, Schuldig stomped off, cursing fake languages.
Crawford grinned. Pig Latin. Worked every time.
