I'm gonna do an initial thought/squeefest now. So many ideas and muses already but they need to brew a bit. Heeee. Aside from that and non spoilery: zomg stay till after the credits.
Seriously. You want to do it.
- ZOMG lots of Jacks on a ship. A Jack ship. I want to be there right now.
- Barbossa is teh man. With a big hat. SO COOL.
- The whole goddess thing is kinda dumb and the Tia/Davy thing was obvious since DMC. Plz. Killing actual characters is neat though. Taking a page from Lost, eh?
- The voyage to the Locker? Very pretty. Especially with all the stars; it reminded me of Peter Pan or, possibly, Space Mountain.
- Jack is apperantly schizo and undeniably brilliant and his breath can knock a man over. I swoon. Nuff said.
- Will is a tool. Jack says so. I never liked him anyway.
- "Do you think he plans it or makes it as he goes along". Only Jack knows. He sure knows how to work that charm.
- Aww Norry. You were noble, then you were scruffy and hot, then you are dull but noble again. I shall miss you. Wah.
- Davy Jones: Cheer Up Emo Kid
- Elizabeth needs to go AWAY THANX. I feel bad for her in the end though, and even come to not hate her once she's off the sea and onto land again.
- I thought the East Indie Trading Co. went bankrupt. Huh.
- AHHH BARBOSSA/JACK/BLACK PEARL = OT3
- Keith Richards maybe needs to go away too. Though Jack's interaction with him is sorta funny. Poor Jackie comes from a troubled home! No wonder he turned to piracy! So tragic.
- Chinese woman pirate? A historical accuracy? WOOT! didn't catch the name though...
- WILL IS A NOBODY! Ahahahaha! I always thought that and they made it come true, just but cutting out his heart. Bwah.
- Since Will is a Nobody and spontaneously hot, I have to like him now.
Anyways. I liked the ending. It had the same feel as the first and that was important to me. Everything is up in the air with possibilites dead ahead. I only wish there had been more Jack/Pearl interaction. The entire story started for the love of a ship and she faded into the background during the movie and Jack still doesn't have her in the end. THEY BELONG TOGETHER! WAH!
