holyshit. talk about fifty first dates...too bad he has to have them all at once.

in a weird way, i kind of thought this was what might happen, maybe because it's what HAD to happen to brett. it's like...he has to learn what the price is for being better, hotter, more efficient than everyone else. he knows a lot of what his fathers know, but this he had to learn on his own, like they did. schu sort of tries to tell him, but both his dads know he's not going to listen.

errk. maybe i'm thinking about this too much? now i really want to write an alex/brett fic, like the alex/cailin one...would that be ok, or would you rather i kept off the other redhead? *grin*

I felt bad for doing that to Brett, I really did, but it was the only way it could really go for him. While Cailinand Kirito can, if they want, have something pass as fairly 'normal', Brett simply can't. Not with two Talents swimming around inside of him. And you're right- Schu and Crawford do try to give him hints, but also know he has to find out for himself in the end.

chuu. what colour eyes did brett get? i can't write about anyone unless i know what their eyecolour is....alex ended up with a rather nondescript pale greyish-blue; i hope brett was luckier.

Brett's got Crawford's eyes- kind of a goldeny brown color. Sometimes it looks like he's got flecks of blue mixed in though...
