*hangs head* I really gotta stop writing in class. Gah.

And Kimmer, I have your earrings at mi casa. I think they gave me a paper cut.

Now...Saiyuki drabbles for 100_roadtrips. Disclaimer: I don't own them. So there.

Title: The Greater Evil
Author: Puck
Fandom: Saiyuki
Word Count: 100
Pairing: implied Sanzo/Gojyo
AN: Bitter, burning, addictive.

Ghosts, he decided, were so much harder to kill. And in so much more abundance. They were half-heard whispers that seemed to come from nowhere. Wisps of grey, hazy tendrils of smoke twining in midair- bitter, burning, addictive. They were fragments of dreams, nightmares really, and long past memories that scratched at your brain until you took notice.

Some were worse than others. Hesitant touches where confidence normally reigns. Accusations never spoken aloud but practically screaming in the depths of red tainted eyes.

They were inescapable and far deadlier.

Demons, Sanzo decided, could be killed. But ghosts…they haunted you forever.

Title: Distorted
Author: Puck
Word Count: 100
AN: Still fell the rain…

He was drunk. That much was obvious to him and it didn’t surprise Gojyo that much. It was, after all, a side-effect of drinking. What surprised him, though, was how surreal he felt. How clear everything looked despite the mist, how silent it was despite the rain.

There was someone ahead of him.

A wayward spirit, he mused. Or a restless ghost. The half-demon half expected it to disappear when he blinked. But the figure remained, a distorted image of himself through the looking glass.

It tugged at his thoughts, before the image faded like memories.

Still fell the rain.

Title: Homage
Author: Puck
Word Count: 100
AN: Some paid homage

These people paid homage to their ancestors. They praised and worshipped them as if they were men turned gods. It didn’t matter if they had liked them or not, so long as they got something out of the deal.

Gojyo would like to kick those people. Hard.

What good did those memories bring? Pain, betrayal, anger, confusion. Skeletons in the closet that rattled and clawed for release. It took a lot of effort to block those ghosts out. The ones alive, the ones dead. Father mother brother No incense could hide the smell of blood.

“Fools,” Sanzo muttered.

Gojyo smirked.

Title: Trickster
Author: Puck
Word Count: 100
AN: It pays to pay attention

Goku sighed happily, patting his stomach and nearly oblivious to the dark forest around them. Leaning back against a tree, the youngest member closed his eyes with the image of food dancing through his mind.

“Better watch out Goku. These forests may be haunted,” Hakkai’s voice drifted over to him, amused.

“As if any ghosts would come after me,” he stated. He cracked open an eye.

“Boo.”

And screamed.

The white figure stood still for a moment before Gojyo fell over laughing, pulling Sanzo’s robe off of himself. “You should have seen your face!”

The half-demon never saw Sanzo coming.
