Final hours of twenty-ness:
- said goodbyes to Tim twice today, he's flying out of Toronto on Sunday night - if all is well in the world, maybe we'll find each other on the other side of the Atlantic next year. I'll keep fingers and toes crossed.
- finished my badly researched, only loosely coherent paper on citizenship and religion in liberal education today; it makes me cringe
- rode the ferry to Wolfe Island and back with Carlyn, Cess, Tim, and Tamara - we talked about astrology, Myers-Briggs, animals (apparently, I most resemble a red panda), and dogs in a sea of dogs...or something like that
- helped Steve move out of/looted his office - I now have more political philosophy books that I will never read; potentially some stuff to build on course material if/when I get the chance to teach
- talked over some stuff with Carlyn - I'm getting her to paint/draw something for me...inspired by my favourite philosophers' metaphor, of course, Neurath's boat, pulling up the planks, and endless repairs
