OK guy, I love each and every one of you too damn much not to break my posting dry spell with this recipe. These brownies are intense, chocolaty, beautifully spiced and not too sweet....
1/2 cup melted butter (unsalted is usually best for baking, but if you don't have it emit the salt below.)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 cup chocolate chips (I like to use the minis in something like this because they disperse better so that you get more in every bite.)
1/2 cup White Chocolate
A bit of milk (I didn't exactly measure, so I'll have to be more careful and come with a more exact measurement for you next time.)
Pre-heat 350
Mix your butter, sugar, honey and vanilla together
Then beat one egg in at a time (I prefer to do my wet mixing with a hand held electric mixer - but it isn't necessary. On that note for short jobs - 5 minutes or less - I actually prefer to use a hand held mixer to a standing one as it gives me better control.)
In a separate bowl, whisk your dry ingredients (except for white and chocolate chips)
(This will ensure that your dry ingredients are more evenly mixed together.)
Add your dry to your wet and beat with mixer until incorporated.
Add your chocolate chips then beat one more time. (again just until incorporated.)
Add your milk and beat for the last time.
Pour into a well greased pan and spread evenly
Sprinkle white chocolate chips over surface of brownies
pop in oven and bake for roughly 25 minutes (I need to work on the exact timing a bit)
