Hey, guys. I'm so glad I found this place.
1. How did you find out about the series?
2. What did you first find most interesting about it?
3. Whats some of your favorite moments?
4. Who are your favorite characters and why?
5. what drew you into the story?
1) Actually found it on a lark. I don't like romance novels, but I saw a copy of Darkfever and was intrigued. I bought it, went home, and read in a few hours. I've been hooked since and these year long waits are killing me!
2)Mac's voice definitely. One of the reasons I usually don't enjoy romance novels is I can't identify with the characters, but Mac felt so real to me with her grief, her relative inexperience with the world, and all her flaws.
3)Hmmm... so far I loved the infamous cake scene, the part with Alina on the beach, it's all good!
4)I love them all! There's not one character in this series that isn't insanely interesting.
5)Mac's pain. I'd had my own loss at the time and Moning spelled what it feels like almost perfectly. From there her entire journey is impossible to resist, throw in Celtic folklore and you have just a wonderful read.
Is anyone else just dying for the next book?! I'm going crazy here. I have not yet been able to get any friends to read, so I'm looking forward to discussions with other Fever lovers.
