Classes
Here's what I have so far, I'll write up a summary next week of how I think they're gonna go
History: Asian Refugees of the Cold War - This seems interesting. I've always liked immigrant studies, and I definitely that way too little is done on the subject. I'm pretty hopeful on this turning out well.
ILS: History of Science 202 - I liked the first one a lot, almost entirely about old astronomers and scholarly institutions. Hopefully this one won't be TOO much jacking off over Newton.
Legal Studies: History of Human Rights - Fuck yeah, this looks awesome and I'm excited as hell for it. It's a seminar so I'm hoping to get a letter of recommendation out of it AND I love legal philosophy/legal history, so whichever way this goes I'm set.
Legal Studies: History of religion and law - I like religion, it's role in law sounds interesting. Again a seminar, we'll see how this goes
Environmental Studies: Environmental Law - This class would be fun except for a couple things. A) 7-9pm on mondays B) Ag hall. Basically, I'm going to get raped walking back from class. Hot.
Anyway, happy inauguration. I'm pretty excited for Obama to stop it from being cold and hand me my candy bar astride a Unicorn or whatever the fuck else it is that everyone expects out of this.
