Just pretend I commented on the current state of affairs and it was really edgy and infuriating. But not as cutting as whatever you said, of course. Because whatever you had to say? Totally important, absolutely key to gaining insight to the situation, and not at all symptomatic of the fact we're all locked in a small space prison and forced to ( Read more... )

Collection of stories from Vietnam. Depressing as fuck. You know what kind of death sucks? Dying because you're being sucked into a field of shit. And people are trying to dig you out but they can't do it fast enough. Say what you want about being beaten by a sadistic clown and then exploded while wearing a stupid costume, at least I didn't die with shit in my face.

I have this biography of Roger Moore I haven't started yet.

Although really, I'm sure I'll just be disappointed. The lives of the rich and famous tend to be deviant along unimaginative lines.

What about fiction?

I'm not sure where to start. I liked Fight Club but all the rest of Palahniuk's works seem to involve a whole lotta bodily functions. Which I'm not saying is terrible, but I haven't liked anything as much as Fight Club.

Non-fiction just seems more useful.

Well, sure, but fiction's got its uses, too. It can be less depressing, fah one.
