i ate lunch at work but it was on a grassy knoll. i washed a sign by the main drag, and a man in a car said: "yeah! you wash that sign!"

my dad's friend from new zealand is here, he's a very nice man and has a very solid handshake.
it is very warm out and i am loving it. this is summer. my dad and i played a rare game of basketball and he won both times. but boy, i had some good beginner's luck.
i am a bit nervous and a bit excited for the show on the 22nd. i'm sure it will be fun though and i hope there's an okay number of people that came to see us. we're opening a seven-band show, at five-thirty. i hope there's earlybirds, like at the old folks' breakfast buffets.
i'm going to vancouver on the 27th. kensey crane, if you're reading, let's ride the skytrain lots.
