As some of you know - since some of you were there - yesterday evening was my daughter's opening night in The Tempest. I wish there were words to describe just how proud I am of her, and how astounded I was. I don't know where she gets this talent of her - certainly not from either side of our family, that's for sure.
There were a surprising amount of photographers present - the director confided in Perry that he was sure it was because of the two of us. You'd think leaving the Senate would give me a little anonymity but the director assured us as publicity was publicity, however it was procured.
Gracie will likely have things of her own to share but I think she's still passed out. Not that I've been calling her since 10am or anything like that. But I have pictures.
This was at dinner, before the show. As you can see, we've both sort of...switched hair colors.
See, that's not so bad, right? I happen to like it.
With Perry, of course, in the theatre.
Now that I'm no longer in the Senate no one raises an eyebrow when I have a glass of wine. As if Senators don't drink since they run the government. Please. They drink because they run the government.
And yes, JP, I will dye it back before the wedding.
And Lois, if you dye your hair green, I'm coming after you!
