I don't understand it. Why would you be upset over someone's death if they come back the next day? If it's a small place and the murderer can be found with relative ease? If it's someone with malicious intent, and not someone able to do what they want, cowardly hiding behind the façade of a war? Here they can hide only behind stone, not behind laws ( Read more... )

Even if they come back is it not something traumatizing to most? A lot of people aren't quite used to seeing death nor are they used to the idea of them coming back so they act as if it is the end.

Still, I must agree to how odd it is that they aren't found as easily as they could be.

...On another note. You said you had a broken leg?

Is this honestly the place to let yourself get carried away by emotions? I understand not being used to dealing with deaths, but really.

No, I said I had a broken leg brace. My left leg is paralysed; the brace helps me walk.

It may not be the place but emotions can't be controlled at times. It may be harder due to the fact their confused and unfamiliar with a lot of what's going on or the fact that they're already upset with how this place is. Once they get used to it, things should get a bit better...perhaps.

Ah, forgive me for my misunderstanding there, but I could take a look at it if you like. I'm more of a surgeon but a leg brace surely can't be that hard.

Snivelling won't help anyone. I wouldn't care, but it's all I read about. That, or things about Valentine's day.

I should hope not. It would be a great help. Seeing as I'm currently as good as immoble, could you pass by Latimir 107?

Maybe you'll see differently once it happens to you. You have to admit that someone can't quite complain unless it happens to you once.

I'm not paying attention to all this Valentines Day stuff myself, anyway, busy enough making sure that those who don't die don't end up in a worse condition.

But it won't be a problem at all. I'll be there in a few minutes.

I think I'm handling something worse than a one-day grief, but that may just sound like boasting.

It must be nice to have something useful to do, Doctor...?

Thank you.

Franken Stein. You can just call me Stein.

It may keep me busy but I like to see how things work more than helping those who come in to the clinic half the time. You have the idiots being knocked about due to their not thinking things through and then you have those who overwork themselves. The most interesting time I have had here so far was the bout of parasites.

Interesting. Mathilde Donnay.

Well, at least you have something to do. And I would say those parasites were interesting, insofar as I'm glad I didn't have one.
