My ALA Weekend
Wow... this past weekend... was just incredible.
First off, my brother surprised me with my room being absolutely free at the hotel. I even got to park valet!! I cannot describe how bless I am to have a brother who could offer such kindess in a short amount of time. My brother works for the Marriot company and knew the manager of the LAX Marriot. Thank you JD!! <3
So, Valerie, Ken, and Kelly joined me in my room. It seemed to work out pretty well. Ken was pretty much an airhead most of the time, and slept a lot. Hahaa, silly Ken. We all shared snacks and overall had a nice time.
DAY 1 was pretty laid back and getting use to where everything is. We all went to the AMVs and crashed soon after. I know Kelly and I were up late. XP I cosplayed as Tiffania from Zero no Tsukaima.

DAY 2 was all PATAPON!!!! Thank you again to Valerie, Kelly, Yoshiko, Yan, and Ken for helping out. I have gotten lots of comments about our Patapons. Many hope for our tribe to get even bigger! I had a grandest time marching around the convention getting peoples' attention. We actually stayed as Patapons for a long time especially me. I found some pictures other people took of the patapons.
After Patapons I dressed back into Tiffania and met the group for the Blue Rose Maid Cafe. Oh my gosh that was so much fun! I love being around good company and the maids had lovely personalities. I found it odd that Robert was being quiet, but I know he was starving. There was some hostility from others, but honestly it had been a long day and I did my best to keep the conversation going. I hope people got pictures of all of us at the cafe. The night ended with Robert, Kelly, and I dancing the night away. They music was fantastic!! I was really amazed that people wanted to dance with me. I was quite flattered and made me feel confident. Kelly was so cute with her dancing partners. >w< <3 We danced until we couldn't dance no more, and passed out in the room. Also, Alice camped out in the room as well. I'm amazed she can sleep on the floor, so cute.
DAY 3 was all about Ponyo! I cosplayed as Granmammare. It was one of the more comfortable costumes I've done considering I was in a nightgown. While during a first part of the photoshoot we had a surprise from another cosplayer. He was also Fujimoto. Yes yes yes.... I kinda have a crush... It was like a sudden spark when I talked to him. *cough* I also gave him a kiss on the cheek *cough* Honestly I don't know why I did... o///o; The group moved onto the pool and we all danced around the refreshing water. I think by doing that we got more people to come take pictures of us all. After playing in the pool we saw the other Ponyo group and joined them for some gag photos. After exchanging info with the other Ponyo group we headed down to the dealers hall and did some final shopping. I found some cute things like a Ponyo cellphone cleaner and a Bone plushie from the comic book BONES. As we said goodbye to everyone those of us from the OC headed back to Irvine to eat at the Curry House and go out seperate ways.
