Jennifer and I went to
Madison Square Mall tonight for margaritas after work. It was the first time we'd been there on a weekend since the
Youth Escort Policy was implemented.
What a difference. We walked into The American Cafe without having to wait through dozens of loud, obnoxious, smoking teenagers. After dinner we walked around the mall. It was quiet. It wasn't crowded. There were more families with small children than I remember seeing in a long time. We walked from one end to the other and back and no one bumped into us or cut us off. Nice work, Amy. :)
I understand that the kids are going to Target and Barnes and Noble now. I feel sorry for the people who have to deal with them. Tonight I was glad that it wasn't me.
