for some reason lj deleted this entry so im reposting it..........
So....Joscelyn had surgery on Monday. It was suposed to be something really easy...where she was supposed to be out before noon. So, she goes in...they do the surgery...and they send her home and put her on a crap-load of Vicadine. And she fell alseep like, right when she got home.
Then she woke up a couple hours later...in a huge pool of her own blood. The blood had actually soaked through her mattress and everything. And she was in so much pain that she was just screaming at her parents to make it stop. She had to be rushed back to the ER to stop the bleeding.
Joscelyn ended up having to stay there for two extra days because she had lost so much blood that she couldnt even stand up straight on her own. She JUST got back home and called me to tell me about it.
Now, her bed rest has been switched from 2 weeks to SIX WEEKS. She is going to be BORED AS HELL!!!
If I still lived back home I would visit her after school everyday to entertain her and keep her company. All I can do from here is send her cards/letters and call her everyday. I feel really bad. :(
