As many of you know, I only have one tattoo:
I have a lot of stretch marks from the weight gain and loss. In a year or two, I'm going to start working on a tattoo piece to cover up many of them. I've talked to a few tattoo artists around where I live, and they say that with the texture and color of my stretch marks, it should be relatively easy to do something that'll look awesome to cover most of them up. Of course, I'd like to have kids some day as well, so I need to factor that in to if / when I really want to get this done. Anyway, this is what I'll be basing my tattoo off of.
My birds will be a bit of a different style, and of course, the positioning will be more along my sides than on my back. I'll probably have more birds than are pictured here, as well. I've got a good image in my head, but this picture was just utterly amazing to me. The girl in the picture says that she's not yet done with her piece, and that what she has so far has taken about 10 hours of work. That's a lot compared to the 10 minutes it took for my foot tattoo.
