Who needs cable? LARL!

Shana's laptop has Vista... and with that? Windows Media Center, of course. I'm watching the Fox News Channel election coverage via our local Fox affiliate. The picture is so clear too. The only drawback, though, is the occasional lag due to broadband and wi-fi. I just might check out what else this has to offer. :)>

are you watching it over the air or via the internet? if it's online, you should look into one of the $50 USB tuners. Over the air digital TV has great picture quality.

she has a tuner card. I just might look into the USB tuner for the desktop... although, if I get a laptop next year, I'll make sure it comes with a tuner. :)>

I'll also hook it up to my 360, which will rock!

My desktop is my old PC which is Windows XP Media Center Edition. I watch TV on it all the time.
it does have a bit of a delay between what's actually airing right now, and when my computer shows it. it can be anywhere from 1-2 seconds to 5 or more. which can be annoying :P

i noticed that it cuts off early when going to a commercial break and sometimes a commercial cuts off early. for most of my TV watching, I'll probably stick to hulu.com and/or abc.com.
