I'm on vacation this week...
and I truly love what I decided to do while I'm off work. Our church is having a music camp for the kids where they're learning a musical about Elijah. These kids are amazing and are just overflowing with talent. I'm mostly helping the lady in charge of the drama portions of the musical... giving my novice-like input on how lines could be presented, how the characters can react in scenes and so forth...
I also get to be crowd control during break time... but the fun part of that is playing with the kids... and I got to jump rope this morning... LOL! of course, the rope would go over 3 times then stop because two kids would jump with me and one of them couldn't jump in time, but it was fun none the less...
Today was the first time in a long time that I laid down for a nap at 3pm and woke up before 7. It felt so good... :)>
I also got Rock Band for XBox 360. I only got the game and not the kit because I already have a headset and a guitar, but don't need the drum kit yet. I might go and get that Friday if Game Crazy still has a used one available. But I like Rock Band better than Guitar Hero because I get to sing as horribly as I want and still have fun... LOL!
By the way, if you are in the Dallas area Sunday evening and would like to see an awesome children's musical, I invite you to Wilshire Baptist Church. It will probably start at 6:30pm, but possibly at 7pm. I'll get back to you on that. :)>
