(no subject)
Today, I went into a room with a bunch of people and looked at mutilated cadavers.
PEOPLE JERKY IS SO MUCH FUN!
Really though, I went to go see Body Works at the HMNS. It was fabulous. I went with Nick, Kerry, and a bunch of Kerry's friends. She was nice enough to get us all free tickets. They had a bunch of human organs, bones, and bodies on display. They also somehow managed to take all the bones, tissue, and cartilage out of a section of a body so that just the veins and arteries were showing. It's kinda hard to explain. Those sections of the circulatory system were immersed in some sort of liquid polymer so that they retained the shape of whatever appendage they were in.
They also did the same thing with a chicken and a lamb, so that only the arteries and veins were showing, making up a sort of blood-vessel skeleton. It was crazy awesome.
Then all of us went back to the hotel room that Kerry got, and had ourselves quite a good time. Sadly, Nick and I had to leave the party early because I have to work at the ass crack 'o dawn tomorrow.
And now, I am going to go get some Ben & Jerry's ice cream. B&J = the key to my heart. Ah, this has been a wonderful day.
I wish I didn't have to go back to work tomorrow. Gotta pay the bills somehow. GRR I wish I had a million dollars!! Gah. All I ask for is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.
Edit: But now I'm all angsty and moody because I'm on my freakin' period. YAY BEING A GIRL IS SO MUCH FUN.
