Observations
A few interesting quirks/comments I've noticed whilst over here (at least interesting to me).
1. Why is it that a country that has such an abundance of grey wet weather doesn't have awnings over the foot paths of shopping strips? Every where in Aus, where rain is not as frequent (but perhaps more sever when it does happen) you'll find awnings to protect you from the weather! Maybe their hoping to get more of the infrequent sun into the shop fronts at the cost of people getting damp.
2. People who know me relatively well know I'm a fast walker. Yet over here I'm regularly finding myself being overtaken by fellow pedestrians. Perhaps it's the faster paced live (yeah right!) or just that fact that more people walk in this city where the car is deamonised and public transport is extensive although a bit erratic. At the same time I guess I'm not rushing around that much.
Now it time for me to go home and play with my Robosapien RS media :-)
