On Vox: こんなiPhoneは嫌だ。

Jun 20, 2008 10:35

The newest reason that I love the internet, and Japan, is the hatena haiku (think Twitter in Japanese) meme "konna iPhone wa iya da." Literally, it's something like "I wouldn't like this iPhone", and it consists of people proposing weird hypothetical iPhones:

"It's covered in hair. Whenever someone calls you, it grows."
"iPhone 3G actually means '3 gold'. So, 1 gold is worth 66 dollars."
"The white on the 16GB version is made from the white stuff you get in your mouth when you drink Calpis"
"The multi-touch screen is like a file and people complain about losing their fingerprints"
"Folding" (click to see the illustration)
