None of the pups' birth-moms are here. So they're somewhere else. So they were taken from them before they could eat real food or walk or anything. An' given to people here. Right?

That's jus' much earlier than I was taken from my mom to go with my owners.

I believe someone else aboard said that these children are not... biologically structured the way I am. Something perhaps... I do not remember the term she used. Whatever the case, it seemed implied that beings naturally of that structure would not be able to procreate...
