Day One: My favorite Song

Change is a constant, everywhere. But it's one constant I have never enjoyed in my life. This song had gotten me through SO MANY of those change moments and times. Like I say, if it is happening in your life, Stephen Sondheim has written a song about it. But please note it has to be this arrangement that gets me through, Move On is a great piece of music but somehow the order of the lyrics and well Babs' voice doesn't hurt, and the fact this was the version that was introduced to me in high school all add up to this song being a comfortable warm security blanket when I just can't take the change any more.

Funny haven't had to listen to it in a long time, and yet today it still makes me feel good.
