Dear Friend of Liberty,
Today, Organizing for America (a continuation of the Obama campaign) is trying to influence Congress to adopt government-run health care by making 100,000 calls to Capitol Hill.
Our plan is to counter their efforts by having our dedicated grassroots activists and supporters make their voices heard in support of liberty and in opposition to this big government plan.

Let’s make 100,000 calls to Congress in support of true health care reform: getting the federal government out, repealing current stifling regulations, and setting the market free to promote competition and provide efficient, effective health care.

I placed a call to Representative Cole, because unlike OK Senators Coburn and Inhofe, I had reason to doubt that he is (was) opposed to the healthcare plan as it exists thus far. The assistant who received my call said that several others have called already to express the same opinion, and in fact Rep. Cole is also opposed to Obamacare in the same way that we are. Whether or not this was his feeling already, I don't know- but either way, I'm glad to know OK is behind us on this one.
If nothing else, I made my voice heard.
