The Flux Capacity part 3

So two and a half years ago Laura and I started watching Buffy over at our friend Danelle's house. We started with session 1 as you do and watched several episodes a week, occasionally skipping a week every here and there when life got in the way. Over that time Danelle and I became friends, there has been much loaning of books, and much imbibing of Tequila. After Laura and I went our separate ways Danelle and I continued with the series. Of course when Angel started we started alternating sessions.

Tonight we finished Buffy. Now non-Buffy fans often have a hard time believing it, but the show is damn good. Campy-yes, but it knows it's campy and runs with it. Still at times the show has some incredible writing in it. Also Danelle and her roomate are excellent cooks and love to make stuff. Ironically the three of us all have birthdays within a day of each other.

OK so we still have two sessions of Angel to watch, and then Firefly, but it's just not the same without Buffy. And it's not as momentous due to the end of the series (which rocks btw) but by the end of a tradition in between friends.
