I just got back from Madison three hours ago. That's a five-hour drive from Hayward. So much sitting. My poor butt.
Anywho, I went with Mom and we visited my brother. He's only been living there for about four months. He's doing well, but I miss him a lot. He's never lived so far away from us. I miss hearing his music through the wall. I miss playing Guitar Hero with him. I miss watching TV with him. I miss random trips to town with him. I miss stepping into his room to find him watching Seinfeld and then taking a seat to watch it with him for a moment and laugh at all the same parts we've been laughing at for years. It's still our favorite sitcom of all time. I miss talking about whatever with him and then one of us is suddenly reminded of a scene from Seinfeld and when we relay that scene, the other immediately realizes which scene is being referred to. I miss the dinner table where everyone is present. I miss running into him at the bar every now and then. I miss seeing him stop into Mobil. But I'm glad he's happy so far and making it in Madison, and I'm glad we got to see him for a few days. We went Sunday and stayed two nights. It's a nice apartment. And we got to watch TV, play Guitar Hero, and eat dinner together. We even went on a beer run one morning. :)
So that was fun, but it is good to be home. Watched Bones and House, both of which were enjoyed. Now it's comp time.
Oh, just one thing about House:
I'll miss Big Love. I liked him. I liked the fun House had at his expense. I liked his nickname. :) In fact, I don't even remember (or maybe I never knew) what his real name is. He'll always be Big Love.
I had a chance to catch some shows at Sam's apartment that I never get to see at home since we don't have cable or satellite. Let me just say this: Kenny vs. Spenny is disgusting. And I liked Jackass. But those two are just too much for me. I don't like them.
Also? Good Eats on the Food Network? Hilariously cheesy!
I can't even remember everything we watched over there. Did a lot of channel flipping.
Okay, I've got some projects to work on. Catch ya'll later.
