There's this song you gotta hear. I find it amusing. It's by some small-time band out of New York. They call themselves The Glorious Ninth, but I'm pretty sure they were formerly known as The Classifieds. I only know that because I used to talk to a guy online who was in their band years ago. He's not in the band anymore, but I still had the band website in my Favorites. I went there on a whim one day, only to find the name had changed and it was a whole different site. But the singer of The Glorious Ninth sounds just like the singer of The Classifieds, so it's gotta be them.
Not that you cared about any of that. So, onto the song.

Strange name, I know. Think of it as Girlfriend's Girlfriends. And notice the apostrophe in the first word, making it possessive, like the girlfriends of his girlfriend. You'll understand when you hear it.
I'm not really sure, but I'm thinking it's okay that I'm doing this because this song used to be a free download on their simplistic site (thegloriousninth.com) for a really, really long time, but it's finally been taken down and replaced by some more songs of theirs, also free. I have not checked out any of the new ones yet, so I can't really recommend any of them to you, but if you like GF'S GFS, be my guest and go to the site. They're also on MySpace with the same songs, though GF'S GFS isn't on there either.
