This is a bunch of bull
I'm at my mom's place of work right now because we have no internet at home. We haven't had it for the past two days and we might not have it for the next week or two. *cries*
So, at first I thought there was a loose wire somewhere, so I was crawling around the floor this morning trying to figure some things out. Nope, all is well there. So, I call our internet provider. An automated voice says, "If you live in the Hayward, Wisconsin, area, press 5." I thought, 'Wow, that was convenient. How'd they know that?' So, I press 5. I next get a message telling me that all service to this area has been cut off. Apparently, a contract was up and they decided not to renew it, saying it wouldn't be "feesible." Assholes didn't even warn us first. No notice whatsoever. Just cut you off and leave you with a nice little message to listen to if you call their offices. I was pissed. Now we have to go through someone else and set up a whole new account. And right around Christmas. We don't have the money and I'm sure all offices will be closing early around the holidays. Grrr. *throws something*
I guess I won't be seeing everybody too often. I can only go online if I come to the radio station, where I am right now. Can't be here much longer though. Gotta be to work at 2. I'll be able to be on tomorrow night after work because the parents are doing Honky Tonk 'til midnight.
