I quit! Someday.

Angie gets sick too much. I know she can't help it, but I can't work with her. She's always sick! Which means working FOR her. She called me this morning. I was all snuggled in my bed, Nessy (my teddy bear) wrapped in my arms, and then my cell rang. Angie sounded terrible and asked if I could work for her. This has got to be at least the fifth time she's asked me to work for her because she's not feeling well. She's only worked at Mobil for a few months. I've been there nearly a year and a half and I have never called in sick. Not once. I've gone to work feeling like shit. I've gone to work with almost no voice. ARRR!!

Yup, I'm getting a new job. No more Mobil for me. I'm fed up with that place. There are no more rags left in the kitchen. This is the first time we've run out before laundry came in. And I didn't realize just how much that sucks until it happened. Trying to clean the hot dog roller, wash the cappuccino trays, wipe off the counters, wash dishes, and dry things off really, really sucks when you have no rags.

My brother Jesse and his family were over for the weekend. That was a lot of fun. We don't get to see them nearly enough. Kelly is awesome. I've always thought so. Jesse is so lucky he found her. And they did the best job of raising Audrey. She's the most well-behaved kid I've ever met. She's also completely crazy. I can REALLY appreciate that. :D Isabel isn't old enough for me to have much of an opinion on her. Although, I will say that she doesn't cry much, and that's always nice. She's a mostly happy baby.

"Over the Hedge" is such a cute movie! I saw it with Dad two nights ago. He and I were both laughing at a lot of parts. The only character I couldn't stand was the one voiced by Avril Lavigne. They should not use her for voiceovers. Ever. But Bruce Willis, Steve Carell, Thomas Hayden Church, Eugene Levy, Gary Shandling, Wanda Sykes, and William Shatner did awesome jobs.

Thursday I see Carmen! OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG. It's been sooooo long.

Friday I see my movie co-stars! It's going to be so much fun!

I've been driving a lot lately. It's so nice to have plates on my car. I'm not doing too bad. Thursday I'm calling the DMV to schedule a road test. I'm gonna be so nervous when the day comes, but I'm really hopeful that I can pass. Breathe, Ferryn, breathe.

I have much writing to do. So, nobody will see me around. Sorry. *counts* Six fics! Not as much as a lot of the authors around, but it's a lot for me. I work slowly. *le sigh*
