Somehow water leaked in my bag, so my once lovely crispy white (hardly used) Physics textbook is now all crumply. It took me about 20 minutes to hair dry every page of it dry. I usually would have just put it outside to dry, but I am supposed to be doing Physics homework.
Today was the first day of re-enrollment for next year. I picked out my subjects ages ago.
610-332 Bio-organic Chemistry
654-201 Invertebrate Structure and Function
654-204 Ecology: Individuals and Populations
654-207 Australian Wildlife Biology
606-204 Ecology: Communities and Ecosystems
654-202 Vertebrate Structure and Function
654-203 Animal Physiology
654-308 Conservation Biology
I am really looking forward to doing Zoology. I spoke to the coordinator of Australian Wildlife Biology (I had to get permission to do the subject because I didn't have a pre-req) and she was so friendly. She was all really encouraging about getting into Vet and trying my hardest. She was the first person I have spoken to at uni who has been encouraging. I like how she said "If you're determined to get in you will get in" or something along those lines.
I usually get the response from people (except Russ) that Vet is so hard to get into and that only about 1 in 10 make it. I find this response really discouraging and unhelpful. It makes me feel like people think I am just wasting my time even trying because I have no chance!
I have been in abit of a rutt lately and not studying nearly as much as I should. I feel like no matter how much study I do I just wont manage, so then I end up doing nothing at all. I feel much better about it tonight.
So yes, off to study!
