Just to be clear I don't intend this to be commentary or an attempt to say one is worse or better then the other but after seeing this old clip of mister Hicks I was a bit surprised by the parallels of sentiment with the other rant.
Both start calm and then progress very rapidly to a state of extreme agitation both are laden with epitaphs and some version of "throw them out" then both go into a feeling of seeming self consciousness and the something akin to apologetic "well I just fucked myself with that one". Admittedly Richards does kind of fall to state of just bizarre non sequitur attacks as well.
Everything is cyclical.
