happiness is a good thing!
alright so here goes another random update cause i'm sitting here and i'm bored, but not yet tired..
My life hasn't been all that differant than normal with a few exceptions. As far as the same old crap, I'm still working as a cleaning lady all week long. I don't mind it so much and pays decently so no complaints in that department. the only thing that gets a little much is the drama and the stupid cat fights between all the girls, but that happens everywhere.
The biggest/most exciting news is that I've started dating this guy named Shaun. We knew each from a while back and started talking again online. At which point we decided it would be a good idea to hang out and reunite a bit. So we set up a date! We went to go to see knocked up followed by dinner at mongolian bbq. It was a very pleasant night. I was kind of worried about awkward silences, but it seemed that we never ran out of stuff to talk about thankfully! smooth conversation is a plus on the first date!!! the next time we got together I went to his house and watched a movie so that we could curl up and be comfy instead of sitting in a theatre.. it was really nice. We watched pursuit of happiness and it made me cry, but he only saw me cry once out of the like three of four times.. shhh don't tell him lol. The most random date so far was the morning i couldn't sleep. Earlier on date number two he talked about how cool it would be if a girl showed up with pancakes and they ate breakfast and watched cartoons all morning. so genius me thought it'd be a great idea to surprise him.. I knew he didn't get up early so i did my best to wait till later, but i only made it till like 9 or 930. I got in my car, stopped at mcd's and bought some pancakes. when I pulled into his subdivision i called him (three times cause he was still sleeping) and woke him to tell him he needed to let me in. He didn't know what to say! all in all it was a good morning. I was very happy. I don't know how serious I want to get, b/c I leave for school in about 7 weeks give or take a few days. I'm enjoying the slow pace of Shaun and am hoping that he keeps it that way it's nice not to rush into things like so many people seem to want to. All i can do is see where it goes. I'm really trying to avoid long distance tho, b/c it sux.. who knows what will happen.
hmmm what else? Oh yeah!! I'm super psyched about this weekend. Only two more days and I get to have my manders for the whole weekend!!! I miss my roomy/best friend/sister so much it's driving me absolutely crazy. I went to wander walmart like the two of us do with my brother, but it just wasn't the same. it didn't work taking pam either. i bought a cd while i was there though. I got the new emerson drive one. I like most of the songs. I really wanted "moments." I've been in love with that song lately and I'm not sure why. I just like it alot for whatever reason.
The excitement for today was hanging out with Jen. She's running a pretty crazy schedule right now, so coordinating days off has been kind of difficult. We made it work today tho! She called me up and was like I'm coming over and we're dying my hair. So that's what we did, she brought everything with her and we dyed the tips pink! It looked damn good if i do say so myself!!! It was soooo cute looking!!! I do good work! *pats self on back* we jammed to the radio the whole time and had a blast!
I honestly don't think there is much more to tell at this point... If i think of more things to say, then i will post again!
