(no subject)
This is how Darwin spent his night. He was apparently just exhausted from visiting with a couple friends who stopped over.
And a funny from this morning - I use Paypal's shopping cart system for our ferret treat store. It seems every other week, the cart has some kind of major meltdown and I have no choice but to rebuild it. Two customers had emailed to say it'd bitten the dust again (argh!) so I set to fixing it this morning. Dylan decided he needed to help, so he sat in my lap and kept his paws on my hands while I reprogrammed it all.
After we finished (an hour later, argh again!) he hopped down and just kept staring at me. I said "Oh,you think you deserve something for all of your help?" and he just kept up the staring. So I went down to the kitchen and brought up chicken wings for everyone. I handed him his, put the others out on the floor for the free roamers, and stuck two plates in with the meat eating groups. Apparently he was none the wiser to the fact everyone ELSE was given chicken wings too, because he walked around with that thing in his mouth, stopped in front of each ferret like "haha! I have a wing and YOU DON'T!" and then he'd move on to the next ferret. When he'd rubbed it in with the free roamers, he ran along the cage showing them. Just as I thought he'd finished, he climbed up that cage until the group on the top two levels could see him with his prize. Then he slid down and hid to eat. He's such a brat.
