Merlin's mentioned it in passing once or twice, but he never let on that it could go so far.

[Not to mention that Draco's come to like Arthur - he considers him a friend on some level. But recalling the way Arthur had looked at him in such disgust during the dream, watching with satisfaction as he was dragged into the iron cage - well, needless to say, it stirs a sense of betrayal within Draco, and that betrayal is quickly followed by hate.]

As for dealing with it, I have more than a few ideas, but I'm quite sure they won't be to your liking.
