For those of you who didn't hear- Apollo Oboler Gagliardi, the best orange boy ever, passed suddenly early Saturday morning. While J and I were out of town, he was with our housemate. It turned out that he had a urinary blockage and that by the time he was showing any discomfort (Thurs night) it was already too late. But since he just looked like he had a cold we didn't even do anything then. Since he was a mostly outdoor cat we didn't even know that he had a blockage since he very infrequently used his litter box.
J's family are all allergic to cats. Us getting another would be a disrepect to them. Plus a house with a dog (stupid) and a kid (inquisitive) is not the best place to introduce any self defined feline.
