Potpourri of things
Nothing really important to write today, just thought I'd do a little update, since I ONCE AGAIN am getting lazy with my entries.
"Little Bear" isn't so little anymore, in fact, he's 30 grams heavier than Whirly, who's the biggest!! He is 150 grams, which works out to a whopping 3 POUNDS!! He's still a growing boy, you gotta remember he's only about 5 months old; I can't even take his bowl away and schedule his feedings because he digests food at his age approx. every 1/2-1 hour. CRAZY!!
Wanna know crazy!? I catch him at least once a day all curled up in a ball in his litter box. He has a hammock and a crinkle sack, and he choses the "Yesterday's News" pellets as bedding of choice. My nerves!! Right now, the little squirt has a headcold, Mom must have given it to him because she just got over one. He woke me up the other night hacking and wheezing, I had to give him the "Vicks for ferrets" that stinks to the high heavens. He's the only fuzzy I've ever seen that when approached with the goo on the Q-Tip never squirmed an inch. He just hangs in the scruffed position and lets me dab it on his nose, he's really a unique little guy.
Aunt Sandra is coming down in June, we are all looking forward to that. Her and her friend Jackie are coming down to her other friend Jackie's daughter's wedding. Hopefully she'll be around when Joel isn't working so she'll get to meet him, he's such a sweetheart!! =)
Speaking of Joel, he left last night for a trip down to his mother's in Windsor. I think I am REALLY PATHETIC, it's only been a day and I'm already lonely (and a little on the bored side). I'm just so used to having him around that I feel a bit lost without him to laugh with and just even cuddle with. I won't have to feel that for too much longer though; he'll be back tomorrow night. This weekend, he's talking about taking me on a date; we'll see if that works out, I think it's a great idea all except for he'll be the one paying, so maybe we'll just stay in and watch a movie.
Oh by the way, JOEL FINALLY JOINED FACEBOOK SO EVERYONE ADD HIM AS A FRIEND AND WRITE ON HIS WALL!! He was so opposed to joining it, but with a little (ok, a LOT) of gouding, he caved!! =)
That's basically it for tonight, crazy, I didn't think I even had that much to write. Anyway, gotta get ready for the season finale of "ER". See ya!!
