*shakes hand bells*

um, hi! it seems you've been matched up with me! and, i'm going to say it right now: i'm sorry that my fandoms couldn't group up together in any logical way. however, i hope that this will be easy and not-so-ridiculously argh-inducing for you. i will love pretty much anything you decide to write because someone actually took the time to write something for me. that's amazing and awesome. so, thank you!

things i like
when things get awkward, oh man. in that i-like-you-let's-hold-hands-wait-let-me-put-this-mouthwash-down-first-please-don't-leave?-i-smell-like-mint! way. short story: i like when charaters end up acting ridiculous because they're nervous. or high-strung. or a touch crazy. oh, and characters who are shallow or come across as total jerks or are self-gratifying (that's a little bit different, hey?). but, i also like sweet. you know, all the hand-holding and milk&bread-buying and bicycle-riding that characters, when coupled together, can get up to. or even just sharing a jacket when it's cold outside.

things i don't like
character death, dub-con/non-con, straight-up angst, and straight-up porn. i think the key thing to highlight here is that i like to avoid darkdarkdark when it comes to the fic i read. oh, and pwp.

if you want to pop over to my delicious to get a better idea of what sort of fic i like (i'm a super-selective saver), it's here.

football rpf
alessandro nesta/paolo maldini, alexandre pato/zlatan ibrahimovic (or: hello, ac milan)

nesta/maldini
there's a lot of respect between nesta and maldini. paolo is (was), after all, his captain (as we are reminded here) and, together, they made up the milan wall (of awesome defending, might i add). so, there's also that tiny bit of idol worship and legend and partnership there. i'd love to read anything where nesta is quietly overwhelmed by the fact that he and paolo have gone from the milan wall to alessandro&paolo. like, oh my god, we're now a part of each other's lives in that way. if you wanted to throw in a superfluous mention of paolo's eyes (that sounds sort of weird, i know), i would so totally okay with that. ahem.

pato/ibrahimovic
zlatan is shiny and new. he's on loan from barcelona and has a long, long history in serie a football as a total jerk-off who doesn't really rate well with nesta. if pato developed a crush on zlatan (he's only twenty-one, okay! he can still get away with this stuff)? i would be okay with that. if zlatan indulged him because it made nesta go scarlet and he actually ended up liking the kid? that, too. if nesta got fatherly? yes, please. actually, i would read anything where pato is just a kid with a crush that makes him think stupid things that he sometimes (against better judgment) says.

failing this, i'll take any sort of ac milan gen you want to give me. just, boysss.

confessions of georgia nicolson
georgia/dave the laugh

i. love. them. i love how neurotic and shallow georgia is and how she never quite realises that she's selfish and indecisive. i love how dave can be exactly what a moment needs and how he sometimes has to just stop being on. they say stupid things to each other. they date different people. i don't really have any specific scenario i'd like to see (i don't even care if they end up together), so i'd be fine with a series of moments or one of those never-ending nights that's full of miscommunication or anything in between. but, hey, stipulation: i like the timeline the books establish. writing about them any where between the first and the last book would be awesome.

the brothers bloom
bloom gen

i'd love to see bloom's character pre-film and pre-penelope. him as another person. how he adapts the values of other people which are, in the end, all facets of stephen. names he's taken on and names he'd like to forget. he can be tired, he can be too-alert, he could be in love, he could be alone. just any small sliver of his life, please. take that as you will.

so, good luck. and thank you! i can't wait. (and please ignore my copious use of the word, 'love'. erhm.)
