Well I got back form Orlando today, it was fun up there. As most of you all know I had a competition up there. I havent been in a race competing against other teams for a while now, so it was good to get out there and get that small adrenaline rush again. Our whole team did really well. Me and Jason got a bronze, we were really close to gettin second but the referee screwed us over. In the middle of the race he put up his flag and said that we were out of our lane, so I steered back into our lane, but he didnt mean to say us, he meant to say the lane next to us, so we were in our lane the whole time. So since the ref did that he prolly took 5 seconds of our time, that same 5 seconds that we could have used to get ahead of the 2nd place boat. Then on the other side of us there was Miami Rowing Club which hit a buoy at the 1000 meter mark. Man do they have a problem in hittin stuff. At least they didnt hit any of our boats. But anyway, our novice girls four boat also got third. Then the quad that had Vince, Ronnie, Jon, and Sean got last. They were against some heavy competition. They looked like they were in college or somethin. But for Vince's and Sean's first race, they did real good. Then after the race, we went to eat at Hooters, damn they got good wings. My next race may be up in Gainesville some time in April. I'm not to sure if we are gonna go to that one or not.
