Things in the game have gone very well. I've been working and socializing about half and half with the game, which is a nice, healthy change of pace.
On the social side of things it seems no-basis grudges are slowly fading, which puts me in a pretty peachy mood. My paranoia concerning receiving credit for what I've done in FFXI never seems to end, but I'm more optimistic about having beat it in to the appropriate parties' minds.
Blaming somebody or a group of somebodies for perpetuating a mood or state of mind is a childish thing to do if you have the ability to remove them from the areas you frequent and simply do not. Last I checked you're the captain of your ship, and the blacklist is a handy tool to make your trip easier here.
I'm leveling ninja at an increasingly quick rate (It's only 44 anyway), which is really nice compared to the stress of higher levels. I'm looking forward to my AF levels for once, I really think it'll be a blast.
The inspiration to level up ranger has flopped, and if someone can show me something fun that they're good for, I'll gladly chug through my last six levels. I might not be seeing the big picture, and that does happen often.
