Well, mostly this is because I saw a bright purple port-a-potty sitting on an intersection in the outskirts of town, where there are no sidewalks, no construction, no nothing that could indicate why there was a bright, vibrant port-a-potty sitting there... Completely out of place and arbitrary, but only if it's a port-a-potty!
If it's a TARDIS, however, it makes perfect sense!
