Family-see above Friends-they often get lumped in with family. I think it's a southern thing but once you're friends long enough, you just become family. I have a ton of cousins and aunts that are no blood relation to me at all! I follow that tradition, anyone who is my friend for any period of time becomes my family. And as for loyalty...I'd lay down my life for my family/friends
Music et all-Again, kind of see above...There is a constant need for music in my life, I'm completely influenced by what I'm listening too, my mood can change with a song. I actually started my radio career ten years ago when the local AM DJ was looking for an intern and I was bored. I was the only one who sent in a resume and was hired immediately! I've stayed in it pretty steady since then, and I just love my radio job. Wish I could afford to do it full time
Animals/pets-sheesh...where to start? Animals are my soft spot...I stop everytime I see a dog wandering and if they'll let me I pick them up and try to get them home. My pets are my children and I've spent countless thousands trying to keep them alive and healthy. My poor golden is having seizures right now and it's breaking my heart and the bank. But she is worth every penny.
Saints-Well regardless of the fact that we've never even been to a Superbowl..I still believe! It's just bred into you down here. The Saints are in my blood and I'll never lose faith. I truly believe the reason for Bourbon street and all the alcohol is that the Saints have had 5 winning seasons is 40+ years.
Travel-Ahh to be independently wealthy! I'd see the world! I'm still trying, one place at a time...Italy and Greece are my top two choices for my next Euro vacay but in October I'll be in the Grand Canyon for a few days then to VEGAS BABY!

I know how you feel about the friends thing. I'm actually much closer to some friends than some family....and yeah, I'd easily kill for them. On to the words... Kitties! - Too many, too many! Since we take in *any* animal that needs shelter, and we *never* euthanize unless an animal is so sick or injured that no vet can help. Even ferals are subjected to "lots of love and patience" progeram until we can socialize them enough to at least have a good, safe life on a farm. (We rarely do TNR here, as there's just too many idiots out there that use cats for target practice. Generosity - I wish I had the money to help everyone I'd like to help. There are several charities that are dear to my heart, and people I care about can have everything I own if they need it. Now, I just need a big lottery win! Freddie - What can be said about the best friend that's gone forever. Yeah, I know...they're always in your heart and all that, but it's NOT THE SAME! A sweeter, more generous, more talented person never walked this earth. I miss him every single day, and hearing his voice, even for a second on the radio, still makes me tear up at the loss... Travel - More, more, more! I've been really lucky to have been able to travel a lot, but there's so much more to experience. I want to walk on the Great Wall, go on a photo safari in Kenya, see the Galapagos, etc., etc., etc. Cue the lottery win cited above. Chicago - probably the only US city I find totally livable. Despite Daley being *thisclose* to skullduggery, he's made the city breathtakingly beautiful. I love moving from ethnicity to ethnicity with the wonderful cuisines, etc. just by walking a few blocks in any direction. Oh, and the lake. "Nuff said!

Kitties! - Too many, too many! Since we take in *any* animal that needs shelter, and we *never* euthanize unless an animal is so sick or injured that no vet can help. Even ferals are subjected to "lots of love and patience" progeram until we can socialize them enough to at least have a good, safe life on a farm. (We rarely do TNR here, as there's just too many idiots out there that use cats for target practice.
