Hey everybody, I realize I haven't written about what I'm up to for quite awhile.. But alas, I'm doing well.

The last day of work for me at Mountain View Elementary was in May, so I started working at the Alaska Women's Resource Center (more specifically Stepping Stones) in June, just as part time. After a month, I was offered a full time position, so I quit Mt. View (meaning, I didn't return in the fall). At Stepping Stones, I work in the daycare, and I started in the school-age room. On the first day of school, I moved up to the infant room. Here's a little blurb about where I work:

Stepping Stones is a residential treatment program addressing chemical dependency for women with children (birth through 17). The length of the stay may last up to one year. Stepping Stones provides counseling in many fields to strengthen and improve parenting skills, as well as prevent chemical dependency, domestic violence, etc. The expected outcome for each family is to remain clean and sober, have a safe place to live, resolve child custody issues, and be self-sufficient.

I really enjoy working there.. My co-workers are Treena, May, Melody, and Kristi (ooh.. the boss)... It's been a lot of fun, although for awhile I had 12 kids at once, all by myself, and I was exhausted by the end of the day.. At first I had 3-6 kids, and that was a lot of fun. :) I just loved my first batch of kids.. I wish I could put their pictures up, but alas, strictly forbidden.

These last couple of weeks have been exciting. Dwight turned 31 last Sunday, and we went neon bowling and got pretty drunk. It was a lot of fun :) Yesterday we went to Vince & Natalya's wedding. They looked so happy and Natalya was just gorgeous, and Vince looked so sharp in his tux. I got a lot of good pictures (I put them up, too). Weddings always make me so happy, and just a little weepy. I know I was just so so smiley... ;) Our 2 year anniversary is coming up, in 3 months. Wow, been a long time.. :) I am finally finding time to read the last Harry Potter book, now that I'm in the baby room. I'm about two-thirds of the way done now. Well, my cat is curled up and ready for bed, so good night, I'll write more soon.

Love, Sasha
