I'm not quite sure why I'm up this early. I haven't seen the sun rise on a Sunday morning in a long time, though, so I guess this is needed. I wish I had a good digital camera so I could take pictures. I guess I'll just have to remember this instead.
Yesterday was our one-year anniversary. It's indescribable how much I feel for Travis & how much our connection has grown over the past twelve months. Instead of buying each other something, we decided to get crafty & make each other a present. It turned out better than I had anticipated. :] Needless to say, yesterday was marvelous. We went out to eat at Legend's and it was so romantic. The music & the whole atmosphere there was enchanting and for the first time, I just wanted to get up and dance the hours away with him. I even wished it was snowing. Dinner was phenomenal and our dessert was as well. Afterwords we drove home, holding each others hands, and telling one another that we loved one another a million times or more. I'll remember that day for a long time.
Today I think we have to carve 3 pumpkins -- one for his house, one for my house, and one for my grandmothers house. I'm excited that Halloween is tomorrow, and even though it's not going to be how I was planning on it to be, I'm still going to have fun. We may have mid-terms during the day, but that's not going to be a problem.
Field Hockey has finally ended, & I'm extremely thankful for that. Now I can start doing my Hi Impact, Six Pack Abs, Strength Conditioning, and Pilates classes at Old Town Athletics. For some reason, I'm really eager for Soccer season this year. Well, I am for now. Hopefully I'm this happy once season comes around.
As for now, I have to get ready to go to Culpeper with my mom to get some groceries. I probably won't update for a while, but I'm going to try something new & leave a quote for you guys to read.
The best love is the kind that awakens the soul,
And makes us reach for more.
That plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.
