Boredom is a dangerous thing

Here is my current predicament;

I'm at Uni. My next class does not start for another half hour. Cp is down again so there's nothing to do there, and I'm certain the WoW forums are blocked. Most of my regular internet haunts are either down, blocked or simply can't be viewed at uni (Ie Newgrounds). *sigh*

During my course I have started to create mock-3d graphics using Macromedia Fireworks. Its incredibly easy to use and will only cost you the better part of your soul to buy. If Cp wasn't down I would be posting some examples of animation that I intend to use in an upcoming project. Heres a rundown of what I intend to do;

The project is a flash presentation that highlights the evolution of the gaming industry, with a small section on the way that the industry is constantly being blamed for messing up peoples kids (I blame children's television. That stuff is like having your brain put in a washing machine). All pages are accompanied by an animated character, Pixel. He started life as an ohr character, but that project lasted a whole 2 hours and became a platform for playing with vehicle scripts. I've given him a new personality and will probably rip a voice for him out of Worms World Party. During the animation, the little guy will take quite a bit of punishment, such as falling from the ceiling each time the user returns to the main menu. The presentation will also include a video montage using clips from games from all eras, systems and genres. this will bear no information and will serve mainly as eye candy.

Well, this wasted the best part of half a hour. I'm off to be bored somewhere else.

uni, games, cp
