Just returned from a two week 'Holiday' with my parents. I'm still unemployed, so my holidays mean going back and working for my old boss for a week or two. Oh well. Once my brothers go back to school on Monday i'll be able to get back to my OHR work. The yonger, stupider one makes it impossible to do anything by constantly asking stupid questions, just to annoy me. Anyway. Here's my current project.
The game is made in the spirit of Day of the Tentacle (Manaic mansion 2, excellent game). everything is viewed from a birds eye perspective, to allow for a different scale in the OHR. Things can be a bit larger, allowing for more detail. The idea of the game is to collect items, find where to use them, and stop a bomb going off. Sounds simple? For every one correct item, there can be up to 3 wrong items. Use the wrong item on the wrong object, and you die. The most obvious answer will almost always be the wrong one. I intend to keep scriping to a minimum. I'm not too great at scripting, and I hate debugging. Instead, the game will depend largely on tags.
This one I may actually finish and release. I have a list of 'on hold' projects a mile long.
