Yes, Moonlight is finally here. And I'm over the moon about it! Hehehehe, do you get it? Over the moon....moonlight. Ok, moving right along...! Moonlight is now Melody Elizabeth Rose Rodd, who was born on Saturday the 15th of October. We went to the hospital last night to visit, and I was really blown away by her beauty, as corny as that sounds. When I was holding her and kissing her extremely soft cheek, and breathing in her just-born baby smell, it just seemed so unreal. I now know what Xavier Rudd was talking about in the song, "Little Chief." I know she is my cousin, not my child, but I just felt an overwhelming urge to protect her and guide her. I'm just so grateful for her.
