Birthday gift cards spent!
With my Francesca's gift card, I bought four pairs of earrings including Eiffel Tower studs. (They were buy one pair get the second half off)
With my Barnes and Noble gift card, I bought "The Martian" by Andy Weir (I saw the movie today!) and "Shopoholic to the Stars" by Sophie Kinsella. I bought even more books with my Amazon gift card: "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon, "Vision in White" by Nora Roberts, and "Inherit Midnight" by Kate Kae Myers. I also got the Sims 3 University Life with the bulk of my Amazon gift card. When I was first playing it, I thought you made teens to send to college because most people are usually teens when they first attend college. So I made a boy and girl teen. It said you had to made at least a young adult for the household, so I just quickly made an adult male to be the dad. When I started playing the game, it said to use the phone or computer to enroll, but I couldn't find an option when I did that. So I went through the "lessons" until I found out how to enroll in college and it said you had to be at least a young adult. So I tried it with the adult and he could enroll, so I just went back and made some new sims. And this time I could choose from a lot more outfits so that made me happy. When I was choosing for the teens, it didn't give you very many options for new clothes so I felt a little disappointed in that, but I'm glad that's not the case!
