A not so forgiving Thanksgiving

I drove to my parents' house in Lincoln Wednesday evening after I got off work. After I had breakfast Thursday morning, I felt dizzy and nauseous and threw up the fruit salad I ate. (It wasn't the fruit salad because I felt sick even before I ate that). I took a nap for an hour until Mom called to tell me it was time to eat. I thought I would feel better, but didn't. I couldn't eat anything that was on the table except for a few bites of green bean casserole and cranberry sauce. I told my parents I wasn't feeling well (of all the days out of the year to be too sick to eat!) and my mom said I was looking pale. I got sick again and threw up what I ate (sorry if this is a bit graphic!) and ended up taking a four hour nap. I felt a little better when I woke up and was finally able to eat a proper Thanksgiving meal - turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, rutabaga, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, and olives. My parents thought I was being a little too ambitious, but I was fine and didn't throw up. I felt much better this morning.

After I ate (and my parents ate again) we played a game of Scrabble. My dad won, but only because I helped him with a couple of words.

This afternoon I got some new Ugg boots. They're really cute, though I hope I don't have to use them for as long as possible!
