Lately I've been buying a lot of Greatest Hits CD from e-bay and the CD Tradepost in town. I can't get enough of adding new (er, new old) music to my iPod! See if you can guess which artists' Greatest Hits CDs I have bought:
1. "So young and so naive, I thought it would be easy"..."We'll make the rules up as we go along"..."cause privacy is my middle name, my last name is control"..."They said it wouldn't last".
2. "We were young and wild and free"..."Standing on your mama's porch, you told me you'd wait forever"..."When your world's been shattered, ain't nothing else matters"..."And when you find me there, you'll search no more".
3. "There's a freeway running through the yard"..."And the rocks might melt and the sea may burn"..."She grew up in an Indiana town"..."And I'll keep this world from dragging me down."
4. "I'll be the one to take you through the night whenever you need shelter, I'll make everything alright"..."I feel the night explode when we're together"..."Before you know it you feel the fire, but don't get burned by the flame"..."It still astounds me the way you found me."
5. "Trying to make some front page drive-in news"..."I know it's late, I know you're weary"..."Today's music ain't got the same soul".
6. "I need to make it to the river and leave this old Nebraska town"..."Summer came and left without a warning"..."I wonder how we can survive this romance"..."We all need a place to run, won't you let me be the one?"
7. "Love like yours will surely come my way"..."With a love so rare and true"..."You don't know what you've been missing"..."You say you're gonna leave me, you know it's a lie..."
